Dr. Ben Deheshi is an expert in hip and knee replacements and revisions, with a sub-specialty in orthopedic oncology (bone and soft tissue tumors, sarcomas, bone metastases). Dr. Deheshi has over 14 years of post-fellowship experience as an orthopedic surgeon and has performed over 1,000 hip and knee replacements. As only one of the few hip and knee revision and orthopedic oncology surgeons in the DFW metroplex, Dr. Ben Deheshi receives many referrals from local and regional orthopedic surgeons and oncologists and is highly-regarded throughout Tarrant County and surrounding regions. Dr. Ben Deheshi started his career in Canada and was promoted to associate professor at McMaster University for his clinical and educational contributions. Dr. Deheshi also completed a sub-specialty clinical fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto. He then completed a local sabbatical in complex hip and knee Arthroplasty surgery with the senior Arthroplasty surgeon at the Juravinski Hospital.
His office is located in Southlake, TX. Shabana Jaffer is the practice manager and is always available to address any patient questions or concerns.

Meet Dr. Ben Deheshi
Dr. Ben Deheshi was recruited to Fort Worth, TX in 2017 for his special skills and expertise in complex hip and knee replacements and orthopedic oncology. Dr. Deheshi spent the first 11 years of his post-fellowship orthopedic practice in Canada.
Dr. Deheshi’s accolades include being chief resident during his orthopedic training at the University of Ottawa, completing a sub-specialty fellowship in orthopedic oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto while practicing orthopedic oncology. He then completed a sabbatical in complex hip and knee arthroplasty and was promoted to Associate Professor at McMaster University, after training numerous medical students, residents and fellows in orthopedic surgery.
What sets Dr. Deheshi apart from his colleagues is his expertise in hip and knee replacements including complex revision surgeries as well as surgical management of bone and soft tissue tumors such as sarcomas and bone metastases.
